• Making Lessons More Enjoyable, Inspiring and Engaging

We regularly review the inspection feedback for many schools and suggestions recur. These include suggestions for more active participation, independent learning, cooperative learning, differentiation, and evidence of pupils being routinely inspired and challenged. With this in mind, this workshop focuses on PEDAGOGY and helps staff explore:

    • Why should we make our lessons more enjoyable, inspiring and engaging?
    • What learning techniques can I use in lessons "anytime/everyday" to make lessons more enjoyable, inspiring and engaging?
    • How do I use these techniques to enhance differentiation and challenge?
    • What techniques do I commit to using in the coming days and in the future?
  • "Education is the great engine of personal development. It is through education that the daughter of a peasant can become a doctor, that the son of a mineworker can become the head of a mine, that a child of farm workers can become the president of a great nation. It is what we make out of what we have now, what we are given, that separates one person from another. "
